PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The primary purpose of the Christian Counselling training program is to offer Christian Counselling education through distance learning. These programs enable students to develop a personal framework for counselling through integration of the Biblical Scriptures and critically study of various counseling modalities that will meet the needs of people spiritually, therapeutically, emotionally, and educationally.

The course materials are extensive and detailed, yet user friendly and solution focused. Beginning with the basics and progressing into more advanced levels you are learning more complicated and/or difficult issues. Qualified Tutors and Mentors are available daily and assist students with their study programs, time management, study skills, motivation techniques, and other areas that are important to academic success.

The flexibility of the courses makes it possible to learn a single new counselling skill or build up credits to apply for a formal qualification. Students successfully completing the course will be able to:

- Describe the role of a Christian Counsellor and what counsellors do.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Biblical & Counselling skills required to conduct counselling.
- Apply practical skills in counselling situations.
- Have specialized knowledge about people, groups, family, society and cultures that relates to Christian Counselling.
- Be skilled and knowledgeable in Christian Counselling and understanding of various basic counselling modalities.
